Identify Changemakers
Our projects in Pandytown, Honduras were very specific.  However, our individual roles and responsibilities were nebulous at best.  As an informal research activity we established a booth at the 3rd Annual Community Service Fair hosted by Oaks Christian High School in Thousand Oaks, CA.  Through this event we were able to establish roles for Pandytown Youth Ambassadors who possessed a natural talent and passion to communicate the need for social change.

The video above is archived film from Cycle 1.  The music is a song called, “Think Positive,” from Pandytown artist, Patrick “Conk” Busch.  The footage features Duran Stanley who demonstrates a unique ability to inspire the inquisitive high school students with stories of his hometown.  By the end of the day, we acquired contact information for over 70 students to assist us with our humanitarian outreach in Roatan.
