Engage community

The question was posed as an experiment in phenomenology, “How can an online community help empower a real community?”  Our social projects in Pandytown included equipping the Youth Center with computers & internet, beginning a micro-enterprise business for local women and finishing construction on the freshwater well.  Anyone who donated $50 dollars to these causes was (and is) automatically entered in our contest to win the Pandytown Pendant, valued at $12,500.

The Pandytown Pendant: Charity Fundraiser

Handcrafted by master designer Michael Beaudry, The Pandytown Pendant is a work of art that unifies flawless .25cttw black diamond pave, .20cts lily-cut diamond, black rhodium and 18K white gold around a stunning 3.51 carat Tanzanite gemstone. The pendant was created to raise money for ongoing causes such as the Pandytown Youth Center, the Women’s Empowerment Program and the Freshwater Well.  At only fifty dollars each, five-hundred tickets will be sold for a chance to win this five-figure Tanzanite and Diamond pendant.

In addition to raising funds, this project is meant to unite people of diverse cultural backgrounds to collaborate on global issues that effect us all. When you purchase a $50 ticket for the Pandytown Pendant your contribution goes directly to crucial humanitarian projects. Furthermore, one fortunate individual gets to keep the Beaudry Tanzanite and Diamond pendant, estimated retail value $12,500.  Either way, it’s a priceless feeling knowing that you have contributed to a community in need.
